Project

Carpenter’s bench turned sales counter

Jerome raised our old carpenter’s bench and turned it into the sales counter in our shop.

Carpenter’s bench turned sales counter by endless bikes

The story

From the idea to the result.

You do not have to be able to do everything yourself. When fitting out a shop, skilled friends are invaluable: people who recognise how an existing object can be reused and know how to make the idea stable. Jerome raised our old carpenter’s bench to counter height. It fits endless bikes rather well: retain good material, adapt it with skill and keep using it every day.

The build

What defines the project.

  • Reused the existing carpenter’s bench
  • Adapted the base to a comfortable counter height
  • Cut and joined solid timber to fit
  • Conversion completed with Jerome’s expertise and help

The result

Far from standard.

A low workbench became the sales counter where we now advise customers, prepare quotes and talk about bicycles.
