What kind of bike is it?

QiO Long, briefly explained.

At 201 centimetres, the QiO Long is roughly the length of a conventional everyday bike. The rear can take two child seats, cushions with a safety rail, bags or a Eurobox. Various front racks attach to the head tube. The Long P9 uses derailleur gears; the CLAx combines a Cargo Line motor, automatic shifting and a belt drive.

Strengths

What we like.

  • Compact overall length despite a long rear platform rated for up to 80 kilograms.
  • Modular safety rail and extensive accessories for children, luggage and commercial use.
  • Twenty-inch wheels and a low step-through make the bike accessible and easy to handle.

Look closely

What you should know.

  • The P9 and CLAx differ substantially in drive system, comfort and price, so a direct comparison is worthwhile.
  • With safety rail, bags and family equipment, the bike becomes considerably wider than in its basic configuration.
  • The safety rail sits very low and far back, making it difficult for the child in front to reach.
  • With a child seat in the front position, your heels may touch it while pedalling.

Who is it for?

For families and businesses that want to carry a great deal on a longtail while keeping roughly the length of a normal bicycle.
