City & folding bike

SUGG Mini

A light mini-velo from Brussels: small, simple and surprisingly versatile in daily city use.

What kind of bike is it?

SUGG Mini, briefly explained.

The SUGG Mini is not a conventional folding bike with a hinge in the centre of the frame. Instead, the handlebar folds in so the bike can be stored more narrowly. The steel frame, four gears, fixed lights and wide tyres create a pared-back city bike weighing around twelve kilograms.

Strengths

What we like.

  • Light, agile and uncomplicated to ride.
  • Can be stored narrowly without folding the frame in half.
  • Developed and built in Brussels, with pleasantly simple technology.

Look closely

What you should know.

  • It becomes narrower, but not as small as a fully folded folding bike.
  • Four gears and rim brakes are intentionally simple and will not suit everyone on steep or very long routes.

Who is it for?

For short to medium city journeys, small flats and people who prefer a light, distinctive mini-velo to a complicated folding bike.
