Elias Durst

Elias founded endless bikes in 2019. Born in Munich, he studied mechanical engineering, worked at BMW and later discovered his love of craft as technical director at the Deutsches Museum. Building bicycles grew from a hobby into a neighbourhood initiative – and eventually his full-time job.

The first workshop by the Auer Mühlbach also housed metalwork and lighting projects. Since moving to Schyrenstraße, bicycles have taken centre stage. Framebuilding especially fascinates Elias: how thin tubes become such a versatile bicycle.
